About The Route
The Cotswold Way National Trail is 102 miles of green rolling hills, picture postcard towns and villages. You will walk through over 4000 years of history. Visit ancient burial mounds, castles, and listed manor houses. Green valleys, ancient pilgrim routes, Roman roads, mature beech woodland and forest paths. Starting from Chipping Campden in the north and finishing in Bath in the south. The Cotswold Way route is well-marked and maintained throughout its length. We will provide you with the official guidebook and mapping for the route.
Highlights for the route often include Broadway Tower, Sudelely Castle, Belas Knap and Nympsfield Long Barrows, Iron age settlements and hill forts, Hailes Abbey and Roman baths. Cotswold villages and towns such as Birdlip, Painswick, Broadway and Winchcombe. Stanway House and Dyrham Park a mansion situated in an ancient deer park.

We have local knowledge of The Cotswolds and have hiked on the route for over 30 years. For all our itineraries we choose accommodations that we know and trust. We use a range of local Inns, small hotels and friendly guesthouses providing excellent customer service. All the rooms you will stay in will have ensuite bathroom facilities and a full English or Continental breakfast is provided each morning, where available. Also included in our prices are daily luggage transfers and our own general information guide about what is available in the region.
